Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, is an undergraduate level ordinary higher education institution established by Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Government.

Shenzhen University of Technology covers a total area of 262,900 ㎡. The university has 108,520.19 ㎡ of teaching and administrative buildings, including 59,041.53 ㎡ of classrooms, 34,372 ㎡ of laboratories and practice sites, and 12,000 ㎡ of playground. It has 14 teaching schools (departments), offering 20 undergraduate majors.
